Looking Forward and Back

Hello,

I hope everyone has had a great week! I absolutely love the weather! Now if it could just stay like this for another five months and then warm up...

Below I will discuss several different subjects.

CCAMS Band
The 7th and 8th grade marching bands have recently marched in the Homecoming Parade, Oktoberfest Parade and tonight they will perform at 1/2 time of the high school football game with the high school band! Please come out and support the band and their instructors, Mr. Dan Davies and Mr. Pat Flaherty.

Personal Learning Plans
Thanks to everyone that was able to join our teachers last week for Personal Learning Plan meetings. If you have not had your meeting yet, please contact your child's adviser so you can have the meeting.

Please also remember that your child's PLP can be accessed at home on the web. Your child has the information needed to log into their account on Career Cruising. To go to the Career Cruising website, click here. If your child can't find their personal information, contact me.

Thank You Hills Bank
I would like to thank Hills Bank for providing food for our staff during Personal Learning Plan meetings. Hills Bank has been a GREAT supporter of our school and our kids education for many years! Thank you Hills Bank for your continued support!

Athletics and Events
Next week we will wrap up our middle school fall athletic seasons. With the conclusion of cross country, volleyball, and football I would like to congratulate all of our athletes on their performances this year. Not only have we had success on the playing surfaces, but we also have shown great sportsmanship. Thanks to all of our coaches as well.

On Monday, October 18th, we will start our new athletic seasons. 7th and 8th graders will have the opportunity to participate in wrestling or girl's basketball.

ITBS Testing
Starting on Monday, October 18th, we will begin ITBS testing. If you would like your child to take the full battery of tests, please contact secretary, Lauri Tow, or me.
